A new embedded-transportable monitoring system (SHARE-BOX), specifically designed to perform atmospheric observations in remote regions, has been deployed at Askole from 20th August to 10th November 2012. The system was equipped with a probe for carbon dioxide measurements (Vaisala CARBOCA GMP 343).

A new embedded-transportable monitoring system (SHARE-BOX), specifically designed to perform atmospheric observations in remote regions, has been deployed at Askole from 20th August to 10th November 2012. The system was equipped with an integrated weather station (Vaisala WXT 520), condensation particle counter (CPC - TSI 3010) able to provide total number concentration for particles with diameters 15 nm < Dp < 3 micron, ozone analyser (Ozone Monitor 220 2B Technologies) and a probe for carbon dioxide measurements (Vaisala CARBOCA GMP 343).
