  Urdukas Soil heat flux sensor

Heat flux sensor is used to measure thermal flux on the ground, i.e. the quantity of energy that passes through the sensor itself.

These sensors have direct outputs and are supplied with calibration certificates. The sensor is put 5 cm below the surface.

Statement

Heat flux sensor is used to measure thermal flux on the ground, i.e. the quantity of energy that passes through the sensor itself. A thermopile, inserted within the heat flux, measures the small temperature difference formed between its two sides, due to thermal resistance. These sensors have direct outputs and are supplied with calibration certificates. The sensor is put 5 cm below the surface.
