Lineage

The CM6B pyranometer is intended for routine global solar radiation measurement research on a plane/level surface.

Fully compliant with all ISO-9060 specification criteria for that if an ISO First Class pyranometer, the CM6B features a sixty-four thermocouple junction (series connected) sensing element.

The sensing element is coated with a highly stable carbon based nonorganic

coating, which delivers excellent

spectral absorption and long term stability characteristics.

The sensing element is housed

under two concentric fitting Schott K5 glass domes.

Additional CM6B features include an integrated (built in) bubble level, reusable desiccant drying cartridge, white sunscreen, and a permanently attached shielded output signal cable.

The CM6B can be used in conjunction with the optional Kipp & Zonen CV2 ventilation system, for enhanced measurement performance and overall reduced instrument maintenance.

Every CM6B is calibrated upon manufacture,

and is supplied standard with a WRR (World Radiometric Reference) traceable calibration certificate.
