Lineage

The measurement of atmospheric humidity, and often its continuous recording, is an important requirement in most areas of meteorological activity.

The simple definitions of Relative humidity U: The ratio in per cent of the observed vapour pressure to the saturation vapour pressure with respect to water at the same temperature and pressure.

Temperature sensitive element is a thermoresistance Pt100 type, the humidity sensitive element is a capacitive plate.

The sensitive elements are protected from incident solar radiation by a double radiation

shield.

The thermohygrometer should be installed at 1,5 - 2 mt from the ground

(see WMO n° 8 part 2).
