The barometer functions according to the piezometric principle: a resistive film is deposited on a slice of silica with a bridge form; as the pressure changes, the slice will deform and consequently changes the system's resistance. The CX115P model mounts a special thermal compensation system that significantly reduces drift. The sensor take hourly measurements of atmospheric pressure. The purpose of this resource in Pheriche is to acquire data on:- Atmospheric pressure[hPa]. The station is equipped with a barometer CX115p Lai-lastem. The CX115P model is destined for applications with connections to measurement systems (recorders, data loggers, etc.) that accept analog signals. Pheriche station involved in the project of international monitoring CEOP. The main goal is to contribute to the study of climate change impacts and adaptation strategies. The station was installed on October 2001. The sensors about air pressure are mounted on a 2m mast . The CX115P model is destined for applications with connections to measurement systems (recorders, data loggers, etc.) that accept analog signals. The barometers function according to the piezometric principle : a resistive film is deposited on a slice of silica with a bridge form; as the pressure changes, the slice will deform and consequently changes the system’s resistance. The output can be reduced to sea level via trimmer on the CX110P and CX115P models and by software calibration on the data logger for the CX111P model. The CX115P model mounts a special thermal compensation system that significantly reduces drift, on this model is also available a second analog output corresponding to the temperature of the Pt100 element placed inside the sensor.
