SHARE Network of Hydrological Observations

In the framework of SHARE and SEED research projects hydrological stations were installed and data are acquired to quantify the water balance related to glaciers dynamics in the Hindu-Kush Karakorum Himalaya and Alps regions

This network is composed by the stations installed in:

1) Pakistan:

- Braldo Valley

- Basha Valley

- Hunza- Nagar valleys

2) Nepal

- Changri Nup Glacier

- Pheriche

3) Italy

- Dosdè (2126 m)

Purpose

In Pakistan stations the data were acquired from 2011. Raw and validated data of water level (m) and discharge (m3/s) are available in the DB for the stations of Shigar and Paju.

In Nepal the stations of Changri Nup are active from 2012 and data are available.

The station of Dosdè is working from 2010. Raw and validated data are available.
