NANO - SHARE is a project for the industrial technological development devoted to environmental monitoring in mountain areas and remote regions.

The NANO-SHARE is a sophisticated technological system developed by CNR-ISAC and CNRS-LGGE with Ev-K2-CNR.

Purpose

NANO-SHARE is developing to advance measurement activities at high mountain locations and in remote regions in order to favor the acquisition of meteoclimatic data useful for the study of climate and environmental protection. This innovative, high-tech, integrated environmental and geophysical monitoring system is modular and adaptable, making measurements possible even where the installation of a permanent laboratory or of a standard research and monitoring station is too difficult or too expensive. The system is equipped with near-real-time data transmission and use only renewable energy sources, ensuring low environmental impact.

The main applications of this system include intensive field campaigns for short term measurements as well as long-term monitoring activities. Measurements at present carried out: surface ozone, aerosol size distribution from ultra-fine to coarse particles, meteorological parameters (T, P, RH, WI, WD, PRP).
