The Meteorological parameters measured are: - air temperature unit[deg C], - Atmospheric pressure[hPa], - Relative humidity[%], - Wind speed[m/s] and direction[deg], - Precipitation[mm]. Sampling meteorological parameters at The Nepal Climate Observatory - Pyramid (NCO-P) is a fundamental activity for the analysis of other parameters such as trace gases and aerosols. Temperature wind speed and direction, pressure, relative humidity/dew point and amount of precipitation are the standard meteorological parameters that should be recorded at GAW stations. These measurements include : - air temperature unit[deg C], - Atmospheric pressure[hPa], - Relative humidity[%], - Wind speed[m/s] and direction[deg], - Precipitation[mm]. The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) has given to The Nepal Climate Observatory - Pyramid (NCO-P), and at Monte Cimone station, the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, the role of "global stations" of the Global Atmosphere Watch Programme (GAW). The two stations are thus become the 33rd and the 34th point 'focal' monitoring of the composition of Earth's atmosphere. GAW stations are required to submit meteorological parameters to the appropriate GAW World Data Centres. No conditions apply
