Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer
Measurements of aerosol-size distributions at the NCO-P (or Nepal Climate Observatory at Pyramid) site were continuously performed by using the scanning mobility particles sizer (SMPS) technique.

- Purpose
- The scanning mobility particle sizer (SMPS) effectively measured size and number of particles between 15nm-32µm. The critical parameter for estimates of radiative forcing and cloud condensation nuclei is the size distribution.The data from March 2006 are recorded at the station Nepal Climate Observatory at Pyramid in the Himalaya (Nepal, 5059 m asl) are part of ABC-DISC database, maintained by UNEP (United Nations Environmental Programme).
