Eboli Borgo Cioffi Measure instrumentation
Instrumentation for in situ measurements :
• eddy covariance tower with an open configuration for the measurement of turbulent fluxes of mass (CO2 , H2O) and energy ( net radiation , sensible and latent heat , momentum ) . Consists of Gill R3 sonic anemometer and open- path analyzer CO2/H2O Licor Li7500
• Torre eddy covariance in the closed configuration for the measurement of turbulent flows of CH4 , N2O , NH3 . Consisting of one or two sonic anemometers ( Gill R2 and Young 81000 ) and by QCTDLs for the measurement of the covariate .
• Weather station
• Tower of measure of the radiation balance
• System autochambers a transient for the measurement of soil respiration .
• System autochambers in closed configuration for the measurement of the exchange of biogenic greenhouse gases (CO2 , CH4 , N2O ) . The cuvettes are motorized closing of the original design and the measuring system is based on a GC .
• System autochambers in open configuration for measuring the exchange of reactive nitrogen compounds (NO, NO2) and interacting gas (O3). The cuvettes are motorized closing of the original design and the measuring system is based on a chemiluminescence analyzers and to UV .
• automatic samplers are used for measurements of air quality and techniques for mass balance from the ground and from aircraft ERA . A sampler AOS -PCP and automated geo-referenced , developed on specific NOAA is used on the ground and on aircraft. A further system of 100 vials of new conception was developed by AOS and is in the prototype stage .
• The Los Gatos Portable Methane , is a spectrometer diode laser of the latest generation , characterized by high- frequency response.
• Diodes quantum cascade laser ( QCTLDAS ) Aerodyne for the measurement of concentration profiles and fluxes of N2O and NH3 : the system for N2O can also use a diode -specific CH4 . the instrument for the NH3 was built on specific ISAFoM and is characterized by particular stability and operational simplicity .
• chemiluminescence analyzers Eco Physics CLD 88 p with photolytic converter PLC 860 and 8610C GC system portable Schambeck SFD for profiling on the canopy and flow measurement of CH4, N2O , NO, NO2mediante self- chamber.
• The spectrometer GRIMM 1109 for measuring the concentration of atmospheric particulates and powders for the termination of the size distribution between 0.2 and 20 microns.
